Reese made a comment about me catching "fishnet models in their natural habitat". Which brought me the mental picture as fishnet models being a particular tribe of Wild Woman.
My models are never tame. That's for sure.
I've found that I'm rather fond of this sort of look. The way I got it, besides careful control over contrast and exposure while editing, was to put my new Sunpak 622 Pro on a light stand (to her right, in this case) at full power, and then shoot at f/16, 1/400th at 400 ASA. The sun was setting, so the background is underexposed by a few stops but the flash was giving Reese the correct exposure.
I have a shot where the flash misfired and it's dark and murky.
