This is a density (how dark the film gets -- so as you get to the top of the chart, the film is more opaque) vs. Exposure (how much light hits the film) graph of E100G vs. T-Max 100.
The three gray lines are different development times on T-Max 100. The red green and blue lines are the different color sensitivities of E100G.
You get about 6 stops out of E100G and somewhere near nine stops out of T-Max 100 by this chart. Meanwhile, E100G gets much darker than T-Max even though it captures fewer stops of light.
The slope of the curve is the gamma.
