I visualized a picture with some scenery and then the stars streaking and forming trails. But I keep bungling the exposure or having other problems. I had one shot where the clouds came in mid-shoot and I got a slide back that was so overexposed that it was completely transparent. And I had a few slides that were too jittery. The nice thing about my TX is that it still has an aperture ring, so in this shot, I closed down the aperture while the shutter was open (I'll look up how long it was in my records, but I'm guessing around 10 minutes) a click at a time, till I reached f/16. This lets the star trails fade out over time.
