Just so you know, all I did was adjust the curves and do a little dodge-and-burn on this image.

This was kind of an accident, which is why one elbow is slightly off frame. See, she moved during the shoot, so it gave a really weird hair-monster look.

So the setup was:

  • My new white paper backdrop on the new backdrop stand, with a piece of white hardboard on the floor to protect the paper and make things flat.
  • A Vivitar 285HV into a silver umbrella triggered via cable as the key light, to the left of the picture.
  • A Sunpak 622 Pro, bare on a lightstand, to the right, as fill. Optically triggered.
  • A Sunpak Digital Flash, bare, also optically triggered, on a superclamp attatched to the coffee table.
